M/V Mermaid2 runs Thailand and Komodo liveaboard safaris year round visiting the best sites each area has to offer at the best times.
From November to May we cruise the beautiful Andaman sea in Thailand visiting the Similan islands and Richelieu rock in the north and Hin Daeng and Koh Phi Phi in the south.
From May to October you will find us in the Lesser Sunda islands in Indonesia doing our amazing week long Bali to Komodo liveaboard where you get the chance to walk with the legendary Komodo
dragons.
Mermaid 2 was built and started her duty in the year 2000 and since that time she has been constantly improved upon and after eight years of cruising experience she is in the best shape of her career.
Secure in her standing as one of Thailand's premier liveaboards she is also one of the only motor cruisers to travel through the Lesser sunda islands of Bali and Komodo.

M/V Mermaid 2 is a 32 metre, double engine steel motor yacht, one of the most comfortable diver boats around, she easily accommodates 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins and 2 guests in a budget cabin below deck. All
deluxe cabins are on the main deck with large panoramic sea view windows. Each cabin has a double bed and single bed (max pax 2 per cabin), air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms. The budget cabin is below deck with twin bunks, air conditioning and a large shared bathroom with 1 other cabin. The large and comfotable saloon is more reminiscent of a family room at home than the saloon on a boat - it has 4 comfy chairs and 2 large sofas and has all the latest electronics - dvd, flat screen tv and stereo. There is also tea and fresh ground coffee making facilities and fridge to keep the beer, wine and soft drinks cold, we hope you will feel right at home. Our 8 double a/c cabins offer all the comforts you need. Deluxe cabins offer a large panoramic window. All cabins offer private en-suites with hot water showers and sink, camera-charging outlet, storage space, wardrobe and life jackets.

The dive deck is huge with plenty of room to gear up, individual
boxes for your dive gear, camera table and loads of rinse tanks.
The dining room is located on the main deck where delicious buffet style Thai and western meals are served. The saloon is large and spacious with lounge suites and big windows, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, Tv/Dvd, music center, library and a full selection of marine life books. There are two outside decks, the shade covered party deck has recently added a brand new custom made extra large lounging suite. The sundeck, located in front of the wheelhouse has a full sun, cushioned lounging area that is not only great for catching some rays but also for watching the sun set with a beer.

Mermaid 2's deluxe cabins all have a sea view, individual air conditioning, fan and en-suite bathrooms. The Bathrooms use normal amenities, western toilet, hot water shower and hand basin with outside window and extractor fan. Each cabin has a double bed on the bottom with a single bed above making the cabin available for couples or singles. Individual air conditioning means you control the temperature of your cabin or you may prefer to open the window and use the fan to circulate the air. Reading lights on a dimmer are behind your head in bed and all plug sockets are 220 volts, please bring a converter if you normally use 110volts. All cabins have a cabin wide sea view letting in the day light and scenery as we cruise to the next dive site. Each cabin has life jackets and smoke detectors for your safety and piece of mind and storage in the drawers and under your bed to keep your cabin uncluttered and tidy.
